The Business Network for Offshore Wind's 2016 International Offshore Wind Partnering Forum facilitates the exchange of technical information on offshore wind development, highlights U.S. innovation, and facilitates commercial relationships between experienced foreign and U.S. businesses. Attendees will:
- Stay current on policy updates, auction news, market progress, and the status of industry players
- Learn from and meet representatives from utilities, OEMs, supply chain and operations and maintenance entities, as well as financers, technical experts, and developers
- Learn about new technologies
- Discuss the industry with the exhibitors and the sponsors.
Cooperating partners include the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and the Maine Ocean and Wind Initiative. Jose Zayas, director of the U.S. Department of Energy Wind and Water Power Technologies Office, will present on the 2016 national offshore wind strategy.
