Colorado: Wind Grants for Schools Program

The Colorado legislature approved H.B. 1087 (PDF 30 KB) Download Adobe Reader and created the Wind Grants for Schools Program, which provides Colorado schools or community colleges with up to $5,000 for wind projects. The school or community college must be work with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Wind Powering America on the project and the total program budget must be at least $50,000. The Colorado Governor's Energy Office will establish rules.
