The Community Wind Project offers wind assessment to public and private entities owning land in Pennsylvania. The Community Wind Project offers technical assistance, feasibility analysis, and project development consulting. Since 2005, when the project began, there has been a lot of interest with over 600 applications received representing nearly every county in Pennsylvania. The website has a map of where anemometer data have been collected. The website also outlines the five steps involved to get an anemometer installed on your property.
