Community and Small Wind Webinar Series: Cashton Greens Project, Wisconsin

Windustry and the U.S. Department of Energy's Wind Powering America initiative hosted a webinar examining the Cashton Greens Project, a Wisconsin community wind project built by Gundersen Health System and Organic Valley Cooperative. Wind Powering America, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and Community Wind Across America sponsored this free webinar designed for the general public, local officials, state and federal regulators, permitting officials, facility siting officials, state and federal policy makers, health care officials, and others interested in community wind development. The webinar explored the partnership between two private enterprises, Gundersen Health System and the Organic Valley family farm cooperative. Webinar speakers Jeff Rich (executive director, Envision, Gundersen Health System), Cecil Wright (director of operations and employee support, Organic Valley), and Wes E. Slaymaker, PE. (Wind Energy Systems Engineering) discussed:
