Date: 6/27/2014

On June 27, the American Council on Renewable Energy issued Renewable Energy in the 50 States: Northeast Region 2014 Edition, the first portion of the larger Renewable Energy in the 50 States report. The report provides a review of investments, energy policies, programs, and market openness in 11 northeastern states and Washington, D.C. It features the Northeast's renewable-friendly policies and achievements resulting in more than 800 MW of new capacity in 2013. The report also cites the impact of state policy leadership on New York's green bank and Connecticut lifting its moratorium on utility scale wind-energy projects.
