Date: 2/27/2017

Location: Washington, DC

The Energy Department's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is convening an industry forum seeking feedback on its Competitiveness Improvement Project (CIP). This forum will be held in advance of the Distributed Wind Energy Association's Business Conference, which will be held on February 27-March 1 at the JW Marriott in Washington, DC. The CIP provides funding support for small and mid-size wind turbine manufacturers active in the U.S. market and abroad in areas that will increase the competitiveness of the manufacturer's turbine. Topics funded under the CIP have included Component Improvements and Overall System Optimization, Manufacturing Process Improvements, Prototype Testing, Certification Testing, and Type Certification. An agenda is available. There is no cost to attend the CIP Industry Forum, but registration is required.
