Discussion

Towns County Schools installed a wind turbine on the schools' campus — the elementary, middle, and high school are all located on one master campus. Through an Appalachian Regional Commission Grant, a partnership among Towns County Schools, Blue Ridge Mountain Electric Membership Cooperative, and the Georgia Wind Working Group installed the wind project.
