Discussion

The District School Board of Pasco County in partnership with the Pasco Education Foundation has received grant funding from Progress Energy to design and incorporate alternative energy components as a model for the students in Pasco County. The Progress Energy Gives the Power to Protect Alternative Energy Grant provides funding for hands-on interactive learning stations accompanied by working models. Students apply energy concepts as they experiment with human, solar, wind, and geothermal energy and collect data first hand.
